Before you gather
Invite a few people to a comfortable place. Ask them to bring a Bible and a memory from the concert. Let everyone know they may participate by listening. Read the passages yourself first, and plan enough time for honest conversation.
1. Remember the night · 10 minutes
Invite each person to share a song, story, or moment that prompted reflection. What question or encouragement did they carry home? Listen without needing to explain someone else’s experience.
2. Begin with Jesus · 15 minutes
Read Colossians 1:15–20 together. Then discuss:
- What stands out about who Jesus is?
- What does His kingship mean for an ordinary part of your life?
- Where might you need to trust His guidance this week?
Keep the discussion grounded in the passage, allowing room for questions.
3. Bring it to prayer · 10 minutes
Read Philippians 4:4–7. Talk about prayer as an ongoing response to God.
- What helps you return to prayer during a busy week?
- What concern would you like to bring to God?
- What is one reason for gratitude today?
Offer space for quiet reflection. Sharing a personal concern is always optional.
4. Choose one next step · 10 minutes
Read Colossians 3:12–17. Invite each person to choose one practical response: a habit of prayer, an act of care, a conversation, or a step toward church community.
What will you do, when will you do it, and who can encourage you?
Pray together and agree on a simple check-in during the following week.
For the group leader
Listen patiently and keep the conversation welcoming. Avoid pressuring anyone to share sensitive details or make a donation. Connect someone with a trusted pastor or appropriate care leader if they need further support.
For additional encouragement, explore popwe’s official resources at popwe.org. Ask the group what they found useful when you reconnect.
